SWWC (Single Women With Children Outreach)
This program is our core program that provides temporary housing and life skill development. The following services are provided: Shelter, food, clothing, transportation assistance, job placement/skill development, financial/budget counseling.
Mentor 4 Life Outreach
This program assigns a mentor to each child, between the ages of 1-18, to better prepare them for life both in and out of school. Life skills such as spiritual counseling, banking/finance, college preparatory and social skill development.
Parenting and Family Development: Fresh Start
Participants develop and use family concepts to resolve issues by learning family structure, guidelines and other family dynamics that support healthy families. Parenting groups are established and group and individual counseling sessions that provide the framework for success are offered.
Career Development: Right Start
The program offers employability workshops for our clients such as resume writing and interviewing skills; in addition to these workshops, the program will work towards having internet accessibility to complete job searches and post their resume on various job sites.
Tutoring for Academic Excellence
This program will be designed to tutor our youth, ages 10-18, that a part of the SWWCO Program. Youth will be tutored in grade specific subjects as well as college preparatory planning.
Elderly Enrichment Outreach
This program is designed to provide workshops and seminars for the elderly related to nutrition, budgeting, and safety. This program offers activities for stimulation (exercise,board games, etc…). This program also includes community service outreach to the local convalescent homes as well as onsite workshops.
Defense and Disaster Recovery Assistance
This program is designed to provide limited primal assistance to those in need after a major disaster such as a hurricane , fire and/or flood.
